Elaine Fahrenbruch, Licensed Massage Therapist
I am a Park County native and I have been a massage therapist since 2005; I have worked on clients from 6 to 80+ years of age. In 2003 after working in an office for several years I began to feel the need to help people in a more direct and hands on way. I had a natural tendency to massage shoulders of my co-workers and massage had helped me, so I decided I wanted to be able to share that with others by becoming a massage therapist. I began massage school in January 2004 attending evenings and weekends, graduating from Health Works Institute in Bozeman in May 2005. I have worked at Chico Day Spa and The Spa at Sage Lodge over the years.
My philosophy is that massage is important for a balanced, healthy, and active life. Some of the benefits my clients have experienced are:
~decreased pain and stiffness in joints
~decreased neck and back pain
~reduced muscle pain and tension
~ better sleep
~and a fresh perspective
Education
The course work at HealthWorks was 780 hours.
International Cupping Therapy Association- Contemporary Cupping Methods October 2021
I have also studied positional release techniques that work worth the clients pain and tension patterns to find release and relief.
